Commercial kitchen mats are designed with a series of holes to allow any liquids and food debris to drop through to the floor beneath. This helps to keep the mat dry and provide the user with a safe surface on which to stand and walk on. Once the kitchen has finished for the day, the mat can be lifted up and any food waste then washed away.
